Madelyn (Maribel) Seiter, 90, of Columbus, OH, passed away on September 24, 2025. Madelyn was born on January 2, 1935, to her late parents, Cyril Willey and Cristcelia Yarhouse (Kelly).

Madelyn retired after 15 years as a secretary for Linworth United Methodist Church, after working as an advertising agent/ media coordinator for Lord-Survival-Yoder company. Madelyn was a woman of faith and took her relationship with Christ with conviction. She was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Worthington, OH.

Madelyn is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joyce Getzendiner, son, Michael Seiter, and three daughters at birth.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Seiter and Andrew Seiter, and her great grandchildren, Wesley and Abigail Seiter, Caleb Speakman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be calling hours held at the Boyd Funeral Home on October 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a funeral service on October 1, 2025, at the Boyd Funeral Home at 1 p.m. An interment service will be held immediately following the funeral service at the Marion Cemetery on the old side. Pastor Evan Cameron will be officiating all services. Memorial contributions can be made out to the American Cancer Society or to the Memorial Fund of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be helping the Seiter family in their time of need.

Madelyn was a welcoming presence at Linworth UMC where she greeted everyone with a warm smile. We loved her! I hope her family is comforted ny knowing how many lives she touched.
