Mack Kornelius

Mack Kornelius, 79, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of the late Annie Kornelius, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 30, 2025.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY he worked as a" transportation engineer", as he loved to call it, for Airborne Express until his retirement. He was an avid fan of the Giants, Yankees, and horse racing. All who knew him know he loved to talk. He often reminisced of his younger days in Brooklyn and his shenanigans with friends. Many fun summer pool parties were spent at his home where he loved to entertain family and friends. In his retirement, he especially enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and his beautiful wife, Annie.

When his beloved wife passed away in 2015, half of his heart left with her. They are now reunited in paradise - along with his cherished boxer, Clyde, his loyal companion and best friend. Mack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annie, and son in law Fady Jalaf. Mack is survived by his two daughters, Maria Jalaf of Milford and Michelle Bishop (Bryan) of Shelton. He will be deeply missed by his 5 grandchildren -Jake and Nicole Jalaf, and Sarah, Rachel and Erin Bishop.

The family will honor his life privately at Mount Saint Peter Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. They wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Masonicare at Bishop Wicke of Shelton and Bridgeport Hospital MICU for their compassionate care and dedication during his time of need. "Grandpa Here" and Pop Pop rest in peace in the arms of our mommy until we meet again.
