Obituary for Madalyn Oleman Madalyn L. Oleman, 88, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 7:50 AM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin, MO after an illness.  Madalyn Lola Fowler was born August 25, 1922 in Wyandotte, OK the daughter of Milton Orvel and Gladys Mildred (Baucom) Fowler.  Madalyn had worked as a Medical Receptionist for Dr. John Roberts in Seneca for 17 years.  She was a member of the BPW, Seneca Study Club, Canasta Club, Spring River Red Hats and Seneca Christian Church. Madalyn married John Oleman July 4, 1941 and he preceded her in death January 14, 1990.   Madalyn was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Sue Copeland; three grandchildren, Amanda Altebaumer, Chris Altebaumer and Keena Edwards; two great-grandchild JonathanRich and Shalisa Oleman; two brothers, Don Fowler and Robert Fowler.   Survivors include one son, Robert Kenneth Oleman, Seneca, MO; two daughters Barbara Ann Sanders, Tulsa, OK and Donna Kay Altebaumer, Joplin, MO; one brother, Morris Fowler, Hutchison, KS; 5 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.    Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Seneca Christian Church with Allan Britnall officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Joe Carlson, John Oleman, Nathan Burr, Mitchel Burr, Calvin Burr and James Rich serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Stephens and Alvin Elbert.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Seneca Christian Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Seneca Christian Church Building Fund in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
