Madeline Ann Paul-Hunter entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the age of 71. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Madeline attended L. W. Higgins High School and was employed as a Paint Foreman with Avondale Shipyard, prior to retirement. She was a faithful member of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, where she participated with the Senior Steppers. Beloved spouse of Kenneth Hunter, Sr. Loving mother of Jermaine Paul, Keshon Paul, and the late LaDawn Paul. Daughter of the late Clarence Paul, Sr. and Orelia Paul. Granddaughter of the late Angeline and Williams Struggs, Sr. Devoted sister of Michael Paul, Donald Paul, Alice Junior, Lil Paul, and the late Alex, Albert, Clarence, Jr., Agnes, and Debra Ann Paul, and Carolyn Levieve Jackson. Aunt of the late Elijah Winston and DayShawn Paul. Madeline is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, 817 Grefer Avenue, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Evening Star Cemetery #2-Harvey, LA.
