As a very shy kid in K5 she was my first friend. We bonded over both having blonde hair and almost sharing the same birthday. Super bubbly and bright personality, her presence was warm and welcoming. We ended up in different grades, but growing up in D5, I saw her love for people show through others who knew her. Over social media over the years I saw how much she supported the local arts in the state. We were never close but girls like Madi show how important love is and how it radiates far beyond.
