Wilburn Hazel Toole Wilson, 87, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born in Aiken, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Howard and Belle West Toole and the wife of Steve Wilson for sixty-five years. Hazel graduated from Greer High School in 1956, where she was the class valedictorian and was retired from Lyman Mills in the billing department. She was a member and pianist for Southside Baptist Church in the 1950s.
Survivors include her son, Dale Wilson and wife, Tammy; four grandchildren, Josh Wilson (Ashley), Ashley Brown (Jamie), Angela Gosnell (Brandon) and Kayla Howard (Kyle); eight great-grandchildren, Kaleb Gosnell (Abbie), Heath Gosnell, Heaven Davis, Emily Davis, Bristol Wilson, Avery Howard, Bentlee Wilson and Cameron Gosnell; and two great-great grandchildren, Waylon and Marleigh Gosnell. She was predeceased by her daughter, Teresa Wilson Kearney; and her brother, Howard Toole.
Graveside service will be held at 3:30PM on Tuesday, April 01, 2025 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens with Rev. Larry Padgett officiating. The family receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service at Stribling Funeral Home.
