Duncan, SC
Jack Owens Stephens, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Born in Fountain Inn, he was the son of the late Marvin and Mildred Owens Stephens and the loving husband of Frances Pauline Moody Stephens for 45 years. He was retired with Rhom and Hass in Taylors and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Roebuck.
Survivors also include five children, Rhonda Richards, Brian Keith Stephens, Mark Martines and his wife Sherri, Deborah Cates and her husband, Jeffrey and Tim Martines and his wife, Tara; two brothers, William Stephens and Mitchel Stephens and his wife, Shirley; thirteen grandchildren, Amanda Stephens, Marie, Jimmy, Denae, Kaycee Jones and her husband, Thomas, Ryan Martines, Chelsea Martines and Taylor Martines, Mason Martines, Brooklyn Martines, Christopher Cates, Tyler Cates and Benjamin Cates; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Martines; a granddaughter, Peyton Martines; a sister, Peggy Childs; and a brother, Donald Stephens.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Roebuck with Rev. William Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11AM until 12PM prior to the service.
Interment will held at Westwood Memorial Gardens.
