Madonna E Rigby

Madonna E. Rigby, aged 83, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter in-law by her side on January 10, 2026, in Redlands, California. Born on September 1, 1942, in Michigan, Madonna spent the majority of her life in Fontana, California, where she met and married the love of her life, H. Gary Rigby of 62 years. She is survived by her two children, Gary L. Rigby (Stephanie) and Curtis L. Rigby; Five grandchildren; G. J. Rigby, Geoffrey Rigby (Amanda), Grant Rigby (Krista), Alexandria Cabrera (Daniel), and Steven Rigby (fiancé Laura); and three great- grandchildren, Natalie Rigby, Olivia Rigby, and Harrison Rigby. Madonna was predeceased by her husband H.Gary Rigby; her parents, Elsie Chascsa and George Chascsa, all of her siblings; Elsie Homme, Marcella McWhorter, and Linden Chascsa. She graduated from Fontana High School, class of 1960. She earned her AS in Nursing from Chaffey College, class of 1975. She worked at Kaiser Permanente Fontana for 23 years before retiring. Her hobbies included painting, calligraphy, gardening, fishing with her husband, and many trips to Tahoe. She loved animals, especially cats. She was the original Diva and loved everything girly, makeup, clothes, shoes, perfume and jewelry. She will be greatly missed.
