Williamsburg-Madora (Glandorf) Kubik was born June 18, 1931, in Williamsburg, Iowa. The daughter of Martin and Esther (Wardenburg) Glandorf. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School. Madora was united in marriage to Joseph Kubik in 1953. To this union they were blessed with five children. They later divorced. Madora worked at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL as a Registered Nurse for a number of years, then drove for UPS for 16 years in Addison, IL. Before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Madora died on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 94 years.
She is survived by her five children, David (Nancy) Kubik of Loveland, CO, Mark (Jennifer) Kubik of Redway, CA, Taryn Hornby of WA, Laura (Mike) Oldenburg of Elk Grove Village, IL and Jim (Jeannine) Kubik of West Chicago, IL; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Roland Glandorf of Williamsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband and a sister-in-law Ruth Ann Glandorf.
