Mae Busby Obituary
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mrs. Busby will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, 12:00 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Pastor, Rev. Kelsey Barnes, Officiating, Rev. Rodney Thomas, Eulogist.
Burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Busby leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters, Angeline (Lawrence) Armstead, Janice Marie Busby, Barbara (Roy) Huguley, Zaneta Carter (Traviss Carter), Annette Busby and Ancarnetta L. Busby, grandchildren: Morell Huguley, Quavian Busby, Portia Huguley, Teranetta (Terry Buford) Staples, DeVonta Staples, Kevin Busby, Cyneldra Busby, Kadarrion Busby and KeAnna Wright, brothers: Ellis (Sharon) Finley, Larry (Dique) Finley, Milton Finley, Jr., Lester (Brenda) Finley and Joe Frank Ballard, sisters: Janice Burton, Peggy Golatte, Stacie Moore, Ellen Dorsey, Inis Lyons, Mary Finley, Virginia (Larry) Burton, Barbara Williams, Elizabeth Byers, Priscilla (Ollie) Timmons, Stephanie Parker and Rebecca Williams, special friends, Mary Kyles, Ethela Bailey, Faye Nell Tinsley, Judy Leverette, Jr. Heard and Robert Watts, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
