Maebell Forrest, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. Born on December 21, 1941 in Claxton, GA. Mrs. Maebell lived a life full of warmth, kindness and an unwavering love for her family and friends. A beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She was known for her bright spirit, compassionate heart, and ability to bring joy to those around him.

Through her passions, dedication and simple acts of kindness, Maebell touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Edna Hagan; a daughter, Tammie Williams; siblings, Saul Hagan, Hope Hagan, Early Hagan and Rochelle Hagan.

Mrs. Maebell is survived by her husband, James Forrest; 4 children, James (Jacqueline) Forrest, Paul (Kathy) Forrest, Maurice (Cynthia) & Morris Forrest, Rose (Horace) Windley; Siblings, Edna Pearl (Ananias) Thomas, Rosetta Nunnally, Gail Porter, Ilene (James) King, Grady Hagan and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
