Mahlon "John" A. Johnstone of Walpole.
Passed away on March 2nd, 2026 at age 90. Loving son of late Bernice & Franklin Johnstone.
Born in Norwood and grew up in Walpole, graduated Walpole HS Class of 1954.
Retired from Pan Am Airlines.
Survived by loving wife Ann Cole Johnstone, and sons Mark Johnstone of Walpole and Scott Johnstone (Jerry Funaro) of Chicago, and brother Benjie Tobins and his wife Marsha. And many nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by sisters Alice Kannally, Shirley Barrett, Jean Nelson, Marie Proctor, and brothers Jack Woodman and Ernest Woodman.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend John's visitation on Friday, March 13th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street in Walpole, concluding with a Memorial Service in the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Terrace Hill Cemetery in Walpole.
