Susan Rice passed away on March 10th. A lifelong resident of Walpole, she is survived by her husband of 52 years David, daughter Jessica Rice Healey, son-in-law Chris Healey, and granddaughter Isabelle. Her siblings Ann Johnstone, Jane Cappuccino and Brad Cole and their spouses all raised their families and remain in Walpole. She is predeceased by her parents Putnam and Marion Cole also of Walpole. Susan was a graduate of Walpole High School Class of 1966 and longtime employee of the Town of Walpole in the Business Office of Walpole Public Schools.
Her family would like to recognize and thank the incredible people who work at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To honor and celebrate Susan’s life please consider packing a picnic to enjoy overlooking your favorite water view. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed by the Walpole Community Food Pantry. Friends and family are invited to visit at her home in Walpole on Sunday, March 15 from 4-7pm.
