Makayla had an infectious smile and a giggle that could light up any room. Her spirit was joyful and gentle, and she found beauty in the little things-listening to music, hearing the birds chirp outside, and walking along the boardwalk. But nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her sister and best friend, Crista. The bond they shared was unbreakable and full of love.
Makayla is survived by her devoted parents, Cris and Amy Masso Ferrer; her cherished sister, Crista; and her loving grandparents, Bonnie Masso and Felicita and William Johns. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Kevin and Deborah Eaise, Richard and Millie Masso, Bonnie and Owen Sturm, and Bianca and Cleveland Moore, as well as an abundance of cousins, great uncles, great aunts, and many more dear family members who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Andrew Masso, Clarence Wright, and her aunt, Cindy Masso.
A service to celebrate Makayla's life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ. Family and friends are invited to visit beginning at 9:30 AM, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery following the service.
