Malachi A. Moreno, 23, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 20, 2025 in Port Clinton, OH. He was born on January 9, 2002 in Bellevue, OH the son of Mark Moreno and Briannan Poorman.
Malachi was a 2021 graduate of Ross and Vanguard High School. He also attended Lorain County Community College where he received a degree in welding technology. Malachi also went to East Maine Community College where he studied auto mechanics. Malachi was the owner of Moreno Detailz and also worked at Osmose Company.
Malachi loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cars, fishing and playing video games. Malachi also enjoyed reading, boxing and chess. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling.
Malachi is survived by his mother; Brie (Stephen Gill) Poorman; father, Mark Moreno, Fort Worth, TX; siblings, Gabriel Moreno, Skyler Gill, Syrus Gill, Edaan Massie, Nathaniel Moreno, Mason Moreno, Zayne Moreno; grandparents; Joseph and Judy Poorman, Sue and Jed Vollmar, Helen Arriaga, Miguel Luevano; niece, Emylah Moreno.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Kelly Cook; great grandparents, Gregoria and Manuel Arraga
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
