Passed away at his home on Wednesday June 5, 2024. Malcom was born on January 28, 1951, in Moulton, Alabama, to the late Ernest and Annie (Lowery) Rose. For most of his working life, Malcom worked at the state hospital caring for patients. Malcom was always wanting to help. He was also a lifelong, true fan of The University of Alabama, Crimson Tide Football Team.
Surviving Malcom are his sons, John C. (Leslie) Rose, Michael Rose; grandchildren, Jacob Rose, John M. Rose, Maddy Rose Barbee, Elijah Barbee; brother, Herb (Veronica) Rose, and sister-in-law, Kathy Rose. Preceding him in passing are his brother, Ray Rose, and his sister Wilma Sue (Lawrence) Abbott.
