Oh Malinda, I can't believe you're gone! I was just looking for someone else's obit. online (3-2-09) and an "Angel" told me to type in your name. No one told us you left this Earth. I had on my calendar to come and visit you in Friendship Manor on your birthday this March. I was going to bake you some more of my sugar cookies that you like. My sister, Donna B. in California, will keep your spirit alive by making your Peanut Brittle recipe and giving you the credit. It was a treat you made for us every Christmas. Now you can be with your Dear Roman in Heaven. I remember when I was little getting to go along with you and your husband and my parents to "The Pullman Club" in Shakopee. You really were our Mother's Best Friend, (Gladys Bielke-Grant) from Chaska for all of those years until her passing at Friendship Manor (August 2007). I will never forget going to your house and you letting us always pick which magazine Butterfly to take home with us. I still have some hanging around in my sun room. And listening to all of your stories and how you could remember all of those jokes, I don't know. I always wished you were my Grandma! You led such a good life, but will be sadly missed in this World!
I welcome anyone who knew good ole' Malinda to contact me. I am so glad I have such fond memories of her and photos. I know you can read this in "Heaven". Tell my MoM I love her and you "Angels" keep watching over all of us.

Grandma,
I miss you more with each day that passes. I look at your photos and it just doesnt seem real that you are not living anymore. I find myself thinking I should call you and then I remember and it saddens me more then anyone will ever know. You were my hero for so long and you always will be. I love you with all my heart!!
