Malinda graduated from Holt High school in Tuscaloosa, AL. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved football, especially the Crimson Tide.
Malinda is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Griggs Sr. and Beatrice Little; daughter: Angela Griggs; brothers: Willie Earl, George, Jimmy Lee, Sr., Willie James; and sisters: Geneva, Julia, and Beatrice.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Gary Wells; two daughters: Tequila (Mark) Smith, Kemmbrely (Darrell Willis) Griggs; two sons: Gary (Afton Smith) Griggs, Sr, Bennie Griggs; eight grandchildren: MaKayla, MJ, Lanieria, Gregory, Adrianna, Destiny, Gary Jr, Siah; two siblings: Annie Caddell-Holliday, Bennie (Lula) Griggs, Jr; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed.
