Mamie Charlann Ephran, 62, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 30, 2025, at St Paul Baptist Church. Burial will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ephran was born July 17, 1962 in San Antonio to Billie and Annie Young. She holds the Texas High School high jump record. Mamie married Byron Ephran on July 14, 1990. Mamie has been a resident of San Angelo since 1991. She was a supervisor at Shannon Medical Center for over 27 years. She was a member of New Birth Full Gospel Assembly where she was a member of the finance committee, and served as the church secretary. Mamie loved singing, decorating, and loved playing softball, and basketball.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Ephran; two daughters, Charla Robinson, and Carla Robinson; two sons, Billy Young, and Andrew Young; six adopted children; Romello Ephran, Shamarree Beasley, Zyriah Beasley, Jae'dist Beasley, Je'leik Beasley, and Jessie Beasley; four sisters, Velma Applewhite, Sandra Callis, Kim Conner, and Billie Neloms; and eight grandchildren.
