Mandy Sue Haney was born on February 21, 1977 to David Haney and Sue (Alleman) Wilcox in Newcastle, Wyoming. Mandy was the youngest in the family following her older sister Kristina and her brother Doug. She grew up in the Newcastle area and enjoyed being outdoors, and especially riding her horse and participating in rodeos. She was also active in sports participating in volleyball.

After getting her GED, Mandy worked with her dad on the pipeline and eventually taking a job with the BNSF Railroad which she held for 12 years. Mandy attended Sinte Gleska University in Mission, South Dakota and graduated with a Associate degree in Law Enforcement. She was then employed in as an officer in the Mission area.

Mandy had two children Jacob and Kaelee, and she loved being their mother. On August 5, 2006 Mandy married Jeffrey Sinkular and they became a family. They were married for nineteen years and lived where work took their family. They lived in Mission, SD, Mitchell, NE, Lusk, WY and finally Dallas, SD on the farm Jeff grew up on. In their free time, they would try to get away and camp, north of Newcastle and the Missouri River were favorites spots to enjoy. Her favorite thing in life was being a grandmother!

Mandy managed the land and the cattle on the farm near Dallas until her heath made it impossible to do so. Mandy lost her courageous battle with kidney disease on November 8, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD, at the age of 48 years.

She is survived by her husband Jeff; her children Jacob (Ashley) Haney and Kaelee (Logan) Wiess; grandchildren McKenna, Carter, Ember, Paisley, and Piper; her mother Sue Wilcox; sister Kristina (Raymond) Henderson; brother Doug (Katie) Lytle; half-sister Teresa Haney; sister-in-law Stephanie Sinkular; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father David, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her in-laws Kent and Deloris Sinkular.
