Manjit Kaur Gill

With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Manjit Kaur Gill, who left this world on July 19, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in India on September 3, 1953, Manjit Kaur devoted her life to caring for others. She served as a compassionate nurse in India, and later, after moving to the United States, she pursued her passion as an entrepreneur, building a life rooted in hard work, family, and community.

Manjit Kaur will be remembered for her gentle strength, her generous spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room. She found joy in gardening, cooking, knitting, and above all, in praying and performing seva at the Gurudwara, where her faith guided her daily life.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Jagdeep Gill, and daughter-in-law, Manpreet Gill; her daughter, Rajdeep Chahal, and son-in-law, Supreet Chahal. She was a proud and deeply cherished grandmother to Ekam, Didar, Gurjind, Rumi, and Sver.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Perez Family Funeral Home. This will be followed by Antam Ardas and Sehaj Paath Bhog at the Gurudwara of Ventura County, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and offer prayers.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness and seva in her name, reflecting the life of service she lived so fully.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and unwavering faith. Manjit Kaur Gill’s presence will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
