MERRIMACK, NH - Manuel F. "Manny" Abreu, age 96, a resident of Merrimack, NH and former resident of Nashua, NH and Lowell died Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice I. (Prudhomme) Abreu. He was born in Lowell on April 29, 1925. Manny proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a former communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Manny enjoyed traveling and drinking his coffee, but most of all he cherished time spent in the company of his loving family. He is survived by four children, Gloria I. Allcock of Merrimack, NH and with whom he resided, Joanne L. Miller and her husband Robin of Mesquite, NV, Dennis P. Abreu of Merrimack, NH, and Thomas A. Abreu and his wife Jeannine of Pepperell; a daughter-in-law, Caroline Abreu of Natchitoches, LA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was also the father of the late Mani J. Abreu and the father-in-law of the late Edward Allcock. It being his wish, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Manny's Graveside Service on Monday, June 7th at 12 Noon at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Manny's memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.

He was truly a very wonderful man. I was lucky enough to grow up in the same neighborhood and have met Manny when he visited Joanne in Colorado. He lived life to the fullest. As Paulette mentioned "May your beautiful memories comfort you." I certainly have a lot of fond memories.

Mitzie and Jeanne LaRocco. Gloria's friends. I was so sad to see Glorias post. He was an adorable man and each time I met him he greeted me with love and kindness. My heart goes out to you Gloria. I love you and pray for God to comfort you during this time.
