Manuel Ray Combs

Manuel Ray Combs born August 12, 1940 departed this life on Saturday February 1, 2025 at his residence being 84-years old. Manuel was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Elliott Combs and the late Ella Cornett Combs. Other than his parents, Manuel was also preceded in death by his sister, Alta Mae Walker and three brothers, Elliott "Red" Combs, Jr., Paskel "Pat" Combs, and Lester Combs. Manuel loved hunting & fishing, especially Grouse and Quail hunting. Manuel was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and always enjoyed being around family & friends.
Manuel Ray Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 35-years, Nancy Combs of Hazard, KY; sons, Allen Ray Combs of Hazard, KY and Sammy Ray Stacy of Hazard, KY; grandchildren, Mackenzie Stacy of Hazard, Ashley Davidson of Lexington, KY and Josh Combs of Louisville, KY; special friends, General Lee Holland and Clayton Stacy; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.
Visitation for Manuel Ray Combs will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Clayton Stacy officiating. The Interment will follow in the Balis Napier Cemetery located in Lotts Creek – Hazard, Kentucky. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
