With deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Manuel Peralez announces his passing.

He was born on October 26, 1955, in San Benito, Texas, to Blas Perales and Ester Atkinson Perales. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, he left this world having poured his heart into the people he loved most. Manuel was a good man-strong, loving, and the textbook definition of a Texas Cowboy. Together with his beloved wife, Nora, he built a beautiful family, and his pride in his children was always evident. His love for his family knew no bounds.

A talented gardener, farmer, cook, and lifelong hard worker, Manuel provided not only with his hands but with his heart. His family will forever treasure the stories he shared, the wisdom he offered, and the comfort of his steady presence.

Though he is no longer with us, the seeds of kindness he planted throughout his life will continue to grow in the hearts of those he loved.

Manuel leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Nora Perales; his five children, Jennifer Gomez, Jonathan Perales, Anabeth Bejarano (Carlos), Yvette Perales, and Derek Perales (Alta); his grandchildren, Alejandro Gomez, Jr., Jared Gomez, Jude Fox Perales, Mila Jade Perales, Kylo Jin Perales, and Oliver Wolf Bejarano; and his great-grandchildren, Kai Alejandro Gomez and June Gomez. He is also survived by his siblings, Blas Perales, Jr., Robert Perales, Ondina Diaz, and Graciela Perales.

Funeral services will be held at Rudy Garza Funeral Home on Friday, November 28, 2025, with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Talk will begin at 2:00 PM, and burial will follow to Anaquitas Cemetery in Rio Hondo.

Manuel's legacy of love, strength, and humility will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
