Manuel Rivera

MANUEL RIVERA, 65, of Bernalillo New Mexico passed away after a brief illness on January 28, 2025.

Manuel was born in Los Angeles, California to the late Manuel and Mary Rivera on May 10, 1959. He moved to Vaughn, NM in the mid-90s and eventually ended up making his home in Bernalillo.

Manuel was a very hard worker. He was always very loyal, very trustworthy, and very honest. He loved doing small landscaping jobs, detailing cars, and odd jobs. He always shows a lot of pride in his work. Manuel was one of the first people if anyone needed help he was willing and able. He was the first one there and the last one to leave. No matter who it was, if someone needed help, Manuel was there. No one was ever a stranger in Manuel‘s eyes. 

Manuel is survived by his best friend and the love of his life Vickie. Two daughters Gabrielle and Valerie, and two sons Manuel and Daniel. 12 grandchildren. Four sisters Anna, Rosie, Debbie, and Susie. It was also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives, and many friends. 

Services will be held on March 15, 2025, with the Rosary at 10:00 AM and Mass at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo New Mexico. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo, NM.
