Age 59 passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 15, 2025. A Joliet resident, formerly of Romeoville. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Alicia Salas; children Susana Salas (Hassin Jaber), Manuel (Teresa) Salas Jr., Eliana Salas, Marlene (Robert) Zarco, Erika Salas, Ricardo Salas, Jessica Salas, Janet Salas, and Adrian Salas; siblings Olga Orozco, Pedro Salas, Leticia Salas, and Silvia Salas (Cruz Arce); sister-in-law's Magdalena (the late Everardo) Salas, and Ofelia (the late Daniel) Salas; grandchildren Malaak Jaber, Malik Jaber, Nathaly Salas, Sofia Salas, Manuel Salas III, Michael Macedo, Audrianna Evans, Adyson, Evans, Christopher Evans, and Celine Tinajero, also numerous nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Florencia Salas, siblings Elva (Enrique) Salas, Delia (Natividad) Salas, Esperanza (Jaime) Salas, and Yolanda (Antonio) Salas. Visitation Thursday February 27, 2025, from 3 to 8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, Il 60544. Funeral Friday February 28, 2025, 9:15 am from the funeral home chapel to St. Andrew Catholic Church for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
