Manuela De Sanchez

Manuela C Sánchez, 94 years old, passed away on June 9, 2025 surrounded by her beloved family. Manuela was born on June 19, 1930 in Milpillas, Jalisco, Mexico; daughter of Margarito and Maria Cervantez. Manuela dedicated her life to her family, their well being and happiness was all she wished for. She is now at eternal rest alongside her dear husband Francisco.
Left to honor her memory are her children; Marcelina (Jose Luis) Mercado, Elva Salazar, Maria (Moises) Zavala, Manuela (Frank) Medina, Antonio (Yolanda) Sanchez, Estonislao (Elsa) Sanchez, Francisco (Kathy) Sanchez, Margarito (Susan) Sanchez, Jose Ismael (Jennifer) Sanchez, Irma Merritt; 28 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; brothers Carlos and Pepe Cervantez; and sister Juana Ornelas; a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francisco G. Sanchez, her daughter, Manuelita Sanchez, her parents, Margarito and Maria Cervantez and her sister, Linda Moya.
She was a faithful member of Little Flower Parish in Waukegan. Her visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at St Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60087; beginning at 9:00 am with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am at the church. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
