Mao Lee Obituary
Following the Vietnam War, Mao and her husband, Long Lee, immigrated from Laos to the United States in 1979 through a sponsorship program. They first settled in Simsbury, Connecticut, and Mao had been a resident of Windsor for the past 20 years.
Mao enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends. A loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Long Lee, and her son, Moua K. Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Mai Lee Khang; her sons, Chuer Lee and Meng Lee; and her grandchildren, Paige Pachia Lee, Calvin Cheenu Lee, Emma Pader Lee, and Gia Micee Lee.
Visitation will be held at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Avenue, Windsor, CT, from 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 22, to 8:00 AM on Monday, March 23. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 23, at 8:00 AM to follow in procession to Riverside Cemetery in Windsor.
