Marc A. Rowley

We are sad to announce the passing of Marc Albert Rowley, 69 years old, of North Windham CT, on April 15, 2024.
There will be a morning mass on Friday April 19, 2024, at 10am, at Saint Peter and Paul Church, in Norwich CT.
Marc was born in New London, CT on February 3, 1955, to Kenneth and Mary Rowley. He went to New London high school and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He married his sweetheart, Mary Lou Rowley (Robsky), on July 3, 1976, at Saint Peter and Paul church. They were married for 47 years, together for 50.
Marc worked as a nuclear pipe/TIG welder for Electric Boat, for 27 years, to his retirement in 2021. He enjoyed working on his 69 Chevy C-10. You could always find him under the hood of his truck, listening to rock, calling out to Mary Lou for a sandwich. Marc was a simple man; a family man. He was a selfless, hard working, loving man, who would give the shirt off his back. He was a man of few words with a quick wit, always ready to make you laugh. Marc gave the best hugs and cherished time spent with his wife and his family. He enjoyed time in nature, and taking long bike rides with his love, Mary Lou.
Marc is survived by Mary Lou, his loving, devoted wife. His three daughters, Heather Mulkey and her husband Eric of Austin, Texas. Katie Contreras and her husband Benny of Norwich, CT. Kristin Phillips and her significant other, Clayton Young, of Norwich. Grandchildren Tre Scott, CJ Scott, Jalen Morello, Ava Morello, Myles Contreras and Dylan Phillips. Marc And Mary Lou are expecting their first great grandchild, Amina Scott, this May. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marc is predeceased by his brothers Jimmy, Robin and Kenneth, and his sister Sandra.
Marc was a good man, a great father and a devoted husband. He will be greatly missed by all those he left behind.
