Marc Valentin Obituary
Marcial Valentin Jr served for 21 years as an NYPD Detective in the Drug Enforcement Strike Force and was also Deputized with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). He was a first responder during the tragic events of September 11th, 2001.
He will always be remembered for his amazing smile, upbeat personality, and his relentless drive to ensure those he loved were cared for as best as could be. He was always extremely active where you could find him riding his motorcycle, exercising to stay in top shape, scuba diving, shooting at the range, traveling the world, and many many more. But most of all, he was a family man.
He is survived by his wife, Maribel Valentin, his mother, Monserrate Andrades, his children, Steven Valentin and Scarlett Valentin, and his grandchildren Alexis Valentin and Mila Blau. He is now reunited in heaven with his father, Marcial Valentin.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 27, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC 28403, where the family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of services. Graveside services will be held immediately afterward at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-6pm Saturday at The Scapegoat Taproom, 2789 Compass Pointe South Wynd NE, Leland, NC 28451.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
