She was a loving grandmother to JohnCarlos, Yoquelyn, Raquel (Julio), Mico (Dalymar), Ashley, Demitrius, Aaliyah, Alijah, Xiomara, Sabria, Kyle, Jovani, and her great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Olga Adorno (Angel), and her brother, Juan Colon. She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews. These familial bonds were significant to Marcy throughout her life's journey.
Throughout her life, Marcy was a beloved presence, touching the hearts of everyone she met with her infectious smile and vibrant spirit.
Marcy retired in 2020 from Potawatomi Bingo Casino, a place where she formed cherished friendships and forged a robust community. Beyond her career, she was known as a master chef within her family, delighting loved ones with her culinary creations. Her kitchen was always filled with aromas of delicious food including her famous "arroz con gandules."
Marcy was a remarkable woman whose spicy personality made her the light of any gathering. She was a natural fashionista, always showcasing her flair with heels, dresses, and dazzling jewelry, living by the mantra of dressing to impress. Her style was unparalleled, making her presence unforgettable.
Marcy's Christian faith was integral to her life, providing her with guidance and peace. Though she leaves behind a grieving yet loving family, they take comfort in the memories shared and the legacy she leaves behind.
Marcy's family finds solace in these words:
No sabamos ese maana que
Dios iba a llamar tu nombre.
En la vida te amamos mucho,
en la muerte, hacemos igual.
Rompi nuestros corazones perderte.
Per no te fuiste sola.
Por una parte de nosotros se fue contigo,
el da que Dios te llam a casa.
Nos dejaste hermosos recuerdos,
tu amor sigue siendo nuestro gua.
Y aunque no podamos verte,
siempre ests a nuestro lado.
Nuestra cadena familiar est quebrada,
y nada parece ser lo mismo,
pero como Dios nos llama uno por uno,
la cadena se volver a unir.
