Marcelino Martir Obituary

He is survived by his brothers and sister, Luis Martir, Ana Sofia Martir, Jose Antonio Martir and David Martir and many nieces and nephews. Marcelino was predeceased by two sisters, Cecilia Martir, Ana Maria Martir Pina and by one brother, Luis Angel Martir. He was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Octavio Martir and Sofia Sanchez and has lived in Worcester for many years.
Mr. Martir worked many years in the maintenance department for T. J. Maxx Company at their Worcester distribution center. He retired several years ago. Before then he had worked for several years for Polar Beverages.
Marcelino enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked to play his daily numbers, gamble from time to time and get his scratch tickets.
Calling hours for Mr. Martir will be held Friday September 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Burial will be private in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
