Marcella Fleer Obituary

Marcella Bertha Ella Fleer, 82, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Country Club Care Center. Cremation has taken place under the direction of The Neptune Society. A remembrance service was held at the First United Methodist Church, Warrensburg, MO., on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at noon, after morning worship services.
Marcella was born on November 17, 1942, in St. Charles, Missouri, to Harold and Elvira (Hischke) Welker. She earned her GED and took college courses before beginning a career dedicated to caring for others. She worked as a CNA and later as a medical transcriptionist, eventually joining the Missouri State Department of Children's Services. Marcella retired after 15 years of meaningful service, remembered for her steady work ethic and her compassion for the families she supported.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Elvira Welker; her brothers, Wayne, Orville, and Calvin Welker; and her sister, Eunice Winkle.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Potter of Forsyth, MO, Wanda Barnett of Rolla, MO, and Carla Robertson of Wentzville, MO; her daughter, Lisa Eubanks and husband John of Independence, KS; her son, William Fleer and wife Evadean of Warrensburg, MO; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Fleer of Overland Park, KS, Albert Fleer and wife Kara of Eureka, MO, and Justin Eubanks and wife Zebida Lisso of Overland Park, KS.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church, 141 E. Gay St., Warrensburg, MO 64093.
