It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcella Villanueva, who left us peacefully after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.
Marcella was a remarkable woman-kind, caring, strong, independent, beautiful, endearing, smart, determined, loving, and fun. She lived a life full of purpose and grace, always putting others before herself and giving generously from the heart. Whether through her warm smile or thoughtful words, Marcella had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved.
Marcella is survived by her daughter Sevanna Lopez, her mother Vicky Reyes, her father John Villanueva, her partner Elaine Robetcky, and many more cherished family and friends who were honored to be part of her life.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery & Funeral Service in Sacramento, California. All who knew and loved Marcella are welcome to attend.
Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 PM at the VFW Hall in West Sacramento, California, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her incredible life.
Marcella's strength touched many, and she will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
