She was born on September 24, 1966, in Kenosha, Wisc., to Keith and the late Sharon Kopenski.
Marci was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Marci had a deep love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She had a fondness for John Wayne films, classic cars, and music of all genres. A fan of classic movies, she cherished the stories and stars of a bygone era. She was a proud supporter of the Chicago Bears and an even more passionate hockey fan – so much so that interrupting one of her games was a surefire way to earn a dose of her legendary sass.
She is survived by her loving children, Jessica (Randy) Wesley, Dylan Bose, Jacob Nelund, Hannah Bickler, and Shane Bickler; she was a proud and adoring grandmother to Amelia Wesley, Richard Larson, and Atlas Nelund; additionally, she is survived by her father, Keith Kopenski; brother, Corey (Mary Lou) Kopenski; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Keith Bickler; and sister, Jodi Gustaveson.
