Marcia Cain, 71, of Framingham, MA, passed away on April 13, 2024 in Weymouth, MA.
A memorial service will be held from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, April 20th at Hingham Congregational Church.
Marcia was born in Framingham, MA to Roland and Virginia Leavitt on January 6, 1953.
She went to school at Framingham High School and graduated from MassBay Community College. She had a long and successful career first as an administrative assistant at Avery Dennison and later as a Lifeline operator for Phillips.
Marcia was beloved by all who knew her for her endless commitment to her family, love of animals and sheer determination to overcome life's many challenges.
Marcia is survived by her daughter Laura Cain, son John Cain, daughter-in-law Keya Cain, two grandchildren Evangeline and Carter Cain and many siblings, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Christina Cain and husband John Cain.
In lieu of traditional funeral flower arrangements, the family requests donations may be made in Marcia's name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.aspca.org).

I will miss dear Marcia for her upbeat attitude to the many challenges she faced and for the great love of her dogs, Lambert and Ace. It was a privilege to take care of Lambert for a while. I love the talks we had about life and I can still hear your laugh.
