WORCESTER: Marcia Joyce Caranchini, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Marcia is survived by her brother, Steven Caranchini of East Granby, CT; her cousin, James Blakeslee of Cody, Wyoming and a very close friend, Carle Johnson of Worcester. She was predeceased by her parents, Urano S.N. Caranchini & Ruth A. (Swenson) Caranchini.
She was born and raised in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat Senior High School, Class of 1967. She attended Worcester State Teachers College and spent most of her career working in the insurance industry, first with State Mutual Life and most recently with Paul Revere as a pension analyst. Marcia was a very caring person who was somewhat limited in physical mobility due to her medical history of an early stroke. However, she was still able to enjoy her work and in helping family members of others in whatever way she could.
Funeral services will be held privately.
Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, is assisting the family.
