XENIA — Marcia Mae (Fife) Dotson, age 69 of Carelton, MI, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was born December 18, 1952 in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Teddy Harold Fife and Pauline (White) Fife. Marcia grew up in Xenia, OH, where she graduated from Xenia High School in 1971. She started competitive baton twirling at a young age and was a majorette for the Xenia High School marching band. As a member of the Xenia Friends Church she had the opportunity to participate in international travel with other youths and church members. She worked for many years in medical offices at reception and doing medical billing and coding. She moved with her husband and daughter to Hillview, KY, for four years before settling in Michigan in 1995 where she shortly thereafter transitioned to working in the safety and compliance department at KC Transportation in Carleton until retirement in 2018. Marcia will be remembered for her good-humored and candid personality, distinctive laugh, fun-loving nature, and strong will. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Harold Fife and niece Tracey Wylie. Marcia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Danny; daughter, Cara Cimilluca; step-son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Tracie Dotson; step-son Abraham Dotson; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother Teddy Randolph Fife; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Larry Wylie; and many other special family members and friends. A private family visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Graveside service will be held following the visitation at 1:30 pm at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.

Sharon & Family- Hi, I´m Valerie (Vandevier) Rexrode, Vickie´s sister. I was so shocked to come upon Marcia´s obituary. I remember her with her long pretty hair, & always smiling. I´m so sorry for your loss.
