Marcia Firetto

1950 - 2023

Mom, Nana, 72, of Southington, beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Marcia leaves behind her Husband, Dennis A. Firetto of Southington; Daughter, Maegan (Firetto) Corlette and her Husband, Richard and their Children, Kaedyn and Kallen of Ellington; Daughter-in-law, Sarah (Kolej) Firetto and her Son, Evan of Cromwell. Marcia is predeceased by her Brother, Mark Kuklinski; and her Parents, Wanda Kuklinski and Edward Kuklinski, and her Son, Brendan Firetto.

Marcia was born on July 27, 1950, in New Britain to Wanda and Edward Kuklinski. She graduated from New Britain High School in 1968 and then later to Northwestern to receive her Bachelors. Marcia was employed by and recently retired from CT Police Chiefs Association for the last 20 years.

In earlier years, Marcia enjoyed her involvement in the Southington Junior Women's Club and was an avid part of a Women's Industrial Bowling League. Marcia was a sports fanatic with her favorite teams being the Boston Celtics, Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. In her spare time, Marcia loved going to the casinos.

Marcia was an extremely loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family and grandchildren, especially her son, Brendan which she had special bond with. Family and friends are heartbroken, Marcia will be missed immensely yet Forever in Our Hearts.

At Marcia's request, there will be no funeral service. Instead, Family will be holding a private memorial in her honor to be announced at a later date.
