Marcia Sarvis Obituary

Marcia grew up in New England. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Fashion Institute of NY. After graduation she met a young handsome Army veteran officer, Kenneth Sarvis, of Iowa. They married and had four children and lived on Long Island. After Kenneth's retirement in 1975, they moved to Connecticut to enjoy the New England town and country life. They were very active in their local Methodist church. In 2000, they moved to Greenville, South Carolina, to the warm southern climate. They were active in the Garden Club as well as their local Methodist church.
Marcia is survived by her four children, Kathy, Karen, Sheryl and Stephen; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and also her niece and nephew, Nanci and Stephen Borroughs.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Kenneth Sarvis, her sister Janice Burroughs and her parents.
A Memorial service will be held at the Rolling Green Village in April 2025.
