Marcia Denise Simpson Salisbury

Marcia Denise Simpson Salisbury, age 70, of Rossville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Marcia was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work.
Marcia dedicated many years of service as an accountant with Landman, where she was known for her professionalism and attention to detail. Outside of her career, she was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and a dear friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Marcia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Salisbury; son, Jimmy "Dog" Callahan; father, Marion Simpson; and siblings, Dennis Simpson and Diane Hess.
She is survived by her loving son, Kacee Callahan; daughter, Serena Salisbury; mother, Aliene Simpson; siblings, Alesia Davis, Sherry Freeman, Danny Simpson, and Ricky (Vanessa) Simpson; grandchildren, Cody Callahan, Haven Callahan, Devon Callahan, and Braydon Callahan; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor Marcia's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the chapel of W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe, with Michael Borgogoni officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again prior to the service on Wednesday.
