Marcia E. Smith, 73, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at IU Frankfort Hospital. She was born November 7, 1951, in Frankfort to Owen and Delores (Huffer) Wills. She married John Smith on May 29, 1976. He preceded her in passing on December 26, 2018.
Marcia was a graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 1969. She worked at Frito Lay before working at Purdue University until she retired. She enjoyed antiquing, flower gardening and taking care of her yard. She loved spending time with her pup, Kirby. Marcia was a caring and loving that took care of people that needed a helping hand, especially her loved ones.
Marcia is survived by her son, Josh (Carrie) Smith; a brother, Samuel (Sandra) Wills; and a nephew, Vinsen Wills; a niece Lindsey Wills; and great nieces, Hayley and Jessielynn.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Andy Smith; and brother, Dan Wills.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Memorial contributions may be made in Marcia’s honor to Paw Pals of Clinton County. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
