Funeral services for Marcia Beth Wiggins Todd, 91, will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Hall Summit United Methodist Church, 6021 Conley Ave., Hall Summit, Louisiana, 71034. A burial will follow the service at Springhill Cemetery, Ringgold, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Terry Wheless.
Marcia was born December 20, 1931 to Orie and Bessie Wiggins in Hall Summit, Louisiana and passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She was a faithful member of the Hall Summit United Methodist Church where she dedicated her life to the enrichment of the church. Marcia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and aunt who always made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was a dedicated medical professional and loved spending her time cooking for her family, enjoying her land, planting trees and flowers and birdwatching. Marcia was family oriented and was always supportive of her daughters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Honoring Marcia as pallbearers will be Kody Wiggins, Jeremy Wiggins, Joshua James Wiggins, William Joshua Wiggins, Justin Wiggins and Louis Guerin.
Marcia is preceded in death by her parents, son, Thomas Todd; brother, Billy Joe Wiggins and sister, Shirley Elliott. Her memory is survived by her daughters, Carol A. Todd and husband, Eddie Owen and Sheila J. Todd and husband, Glenn Guerin; grandchildren, Louis A. Guerin, Mariel E. Guerin and Jennifer E. Miller “Jem”; nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
