Marcia May (Jensen) Wilson, age 83, of Bloomington, MN, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023. Marcia was born to Jens and Avenell Jensen in North Star Township, MN. She was best known for her warm heart and kindness to family and friends.
Marcia grew up in Southern MN and attended Morgan High School, graduating in the top of her class. She earned a nursing degree from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing. She spent nearly 40 years caring for patients at the Swedish Hospital, Metropolitan Medical Center, and Hennepin County Medical Center.
Marcia married David Robert Wilson in 1960, and they had three sons. Marcia loved her family and enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays with them. She also enjoyed reading, history, and playing cards.
Survived by sons, Paul Wilson, Joel (Mary) Wilson, and James (Candace) Wilson; six grandchildren, Jessica (Spencer) McWilliams, Katherine (Wilson Reinke) Wilson, Amanda (Chris) Kottenstette, Emily Wilson, Molly Wilson and Maxwell Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Graham Anderson and Charlie Kottenstette; siblings, Mona Conway and James Jensen. Preceded in death by her husband, David Wilson, her parents, and her sister, Mary Johnson.
Funeral Service: Tues., May 23, 2023. Visitation 10 am. Service 11 am followed by reception at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN. Memorials to Union Gospel Mission, Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.
