Marcus Cutsinger

Marcus Dee Cutsinger, age 61, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Born in Elwood, Indiana, on June 25, 1963, he was the son of the late Junior and Shirley (Galbreath) Cutsinger. Marcus was a skilled mechanic who, at one time, owned and operated his own mechanic shop. He had a passion for working on cars and could often be found under the hood, turning wrenches and fixing engines.
On February 17, 2015, Marcus married Kimberly (Miller) Cutsinger, and together they shared nearly ten years of marriage. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He especially loved taking drives, reminiscing about his hometown of Elwood, and reflecting on good memories. Marcus found joy in watching wrestling on TV and listening to country music.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Cutsinger of Anderson, IN; his children, Madison Cutsinger, Sarah Presley Summitville, Indiana, Dakota Cutsinger (Margarita Mains) Tennessee and; his granddaughter, Starr Cutsinger, and a grandson expected in August 2025. He is also survived by his brother, J.R. Cutsinger; his sister, Teresa Martin; his niece, Angel Cutsinger; his nephew, Scotty Hayward; his great nieces and great nephew, Ava Trent, Serenity Trent, and Alex; his stepson from his first marriage, Benjamin Lacey; and his best friend, Ralph House (Michigan).
Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Shirley Cutsinger, and his brothers, Hubert W. Cutsinger and Robbie Cutsinger.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood, Indiana, with Pastor Nate Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Elwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
