Survived by his life partner William Chaz Rooks; fur babies Ruby and Winnie; grandmother Edna Crook Shumake; Mother Edith Shumake Durrough; brothers Milford "Jamie" James Durrough III, Matthew J. Durrough; nephew Casey Durrough; nieces Alexis Clift and Luna Rae Durrough.
Marc grew up in Newnan, Ga. and was a graduate of Newnan High School. Marcus loved traveling, all music and was an animal lover. He was an extremely devoted friend and protector of everyone he loved.
Services for friends and family will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 o'clock at Mckoon Funeral home (38 Jackson St. Newnan, Ga.) Burial ceremony will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Ga. https://gofund.me/eaf0bcc6
