Marcus (Marc) Steven Wilson, age 33, of Concord North Carolina, passed away December 2, 2023.
Marc was born in Kenner, Louisiana on November 4, 1990.
He is survived by his wife Melissa Wilson, their beloved “fur baby” Diesel, father Jack Wilson, mother Christine Wilson, brother Dustin Wilson, sister-in-law Hallie, brother Jason Wilson, sister-in-law Rachael, sister Amanda Osier, brother-in-law Brenden, brother–in law Christopher Cartwright, sister-in-law Heather, sister-in-law Danielle Cartwright, sister-in-law Breanna Martin, nieces Addyson, Lyla, and Aylin Wilson, Tallulah Osier and Savannah Frazier, nephews Colton Wilson, Lukas Osier, and Joseph Cartwright, grandmother Rosemary Kirsch, aunt Lillian Bonura, aunt Mary Jean Hebert, uncle Eric, uncle George Kirsch, cousins Jennifer Bonura, Matthew Bonura and Paris Candies.
Marc joined the family business as an equipment operator, he took pride in his work and developed many skills over the years.
Marc enjoyed the company of others and never met a stranger. He would always be the first to greet someone with a welcoming smile. He had a passion for adventure and was a seeker of novelty and new experiences. Marc loved to be outdoors – camping, creating, relaxing by the fire and just taking it all in. He enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, and playing his guitar. You could always count on him to liven up any gathering. Just when you thought you were having a good time – Marc would make it better. He loved family gatherings for special occasions and loved playing Santa Claus for all the kids at Christmas. He enjoyed traveling and cooking with his wife, always making new dishes to share and hosting their friends. Marc’s love and dedication to his family & friends was unparalleled. A man with a heart so big and an even bigger bear hug. He had a love for life, a love for family, and a love for fun.
Funeral services will be held December 9, 2023 11:00 AM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home 16901 Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC. Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation is serving the family. For any questions concerning services, please call 704-781-5665.
