The family of Ms. Margaret Ellen Boykin, 51, of Welsh, announces her passing on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence.
Ms. Boykin was born on July 23, 1971, to parents, Charles Clarkson Smith, and Mary Patricia Langham. She moved here from Fayetteville, GA approximately three years ago. Maggie worked as a dental assistant for 30 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Jamie Rachelle Boykin of Georgia, and Jada Elaine House of Georgia; two sons, James Richard Boykin III from Tennessee and Kilian Edward Tates from Georgia; three sisters, Catherine Rock from Leesburg, VA, Elizabeth Harding from Martinsburg, WV, and Cecilia Smith from Front Royal, VA; four grandchildren, Kylie, Lilly, Grayson and McKenzie; Nieces, Cassie, Kate and Emily, nephews, Mikey, Cody, Blaine and Kyle, and special friend, John Bertrand.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Mary Patricia Harding, William "Bill" Harding and Charles Clarkson Smith.
Ms. Boykin's family has chosen cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
A service will be set for a later date for a Celebration of Life to have her cremated remains placed with a growing seedling tree in remembrance of her life and the tree will have a remembrance plaque with her name as per her wishes.
