A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Cheser, age 65, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born October 3, 1959 in Lebanon to the late William Letcher and Ada Holden Neal Clark. Margaret was a former admitting clerk at Flaget Hospital and was a member of Wakefield Baptist Church. She loved traveling and going antiquing and was a collector of luxury handbags. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darryl Cheser, and 4 brothers, Lee Bryant, Neal Holden, Owen Douglas and William Letcher "Bill" Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Cheser of Bardstown, a sister, Rebecca (Tommy) Brothers of Bloomfield, 2 nephews, Sam and Luke Brothers of Bloomfield, and a family friend, Laura Kieffer of Bardstown. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Cheser will be 11:00 am Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown. David Shelburne will officiate. Interment will be in Highview Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Monday after 9:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
