Margaret Rohlfing Holm Edvalson, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father June 3, 2023, of natural causes.
Born March 28, 1927, in Salt Lake City, daughter of Gustaf (George) and Henni (Alma) Sophie Rohlfing Holm.
She was a lifelong resident of Salt Lake City County area where she graduated from South High School. She was sealed to her husband Richard George Edvalson (deceased) for time and all eternity November 26, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Survived by her children, Karen (Wayne) Williams, West Valley City; James (Dora), Payson; Doug (Cheryl deceased), Stansbury; George (Claudia), West Valley City; David (Cheryl) Taylorsville; Faye Lynn (deceased), Maryann (Joe) Doxford, West Valley City. She had 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Mom lived a life of sacrifice for her family and her witty sense of humor carried her through.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions. She had many talents, writing plays and poems was just a few of them. Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother dearly loved by her family. She will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held Friday June 9, 1:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held prior to services from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.

God made a wonderful mother, a mother that never grows old. He made her smile of the sunshine, and He molded her heart of pure gold. In her eyes He placed bright, shining stars. In her checks, fair roses you see. God made a wonderful mother and He gave that dear mother to me.
